The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that early today, Israeli forces committed a new crime by bombing a displaced persons’ tent within the grounds of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital (central Gaza Strip), specifically near the hospital’s outpatient clinic. The attack resulted in injuries at the site, material damage, and directly threatened the lives of dozens of patients inside the hospital.

In a press statement, the office confirmed that this criminal targeting marks the 14th time the hospital has been attacked since the start of the ongoing genocidal war. This repeated bombardment reflects a deliberate effort to target healthcare infrastructure, in clear violation of international laws prohibiting attacks on medical facilities and civilians.
The statement strongly condemned this ongoing barbaric aggression against hospitals, describing it as a blatant breach of all international and humanitarian conventions.
It called on the international community, the United Nations, and its humanitarian and human rights organizations to take immediate action to halt the attacks and protect hospitals and medical staff in Gaza, stressing that these crimes amount to war crimes and acts of genocide.
