Meanwhile, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an Israeli force advanced on Sunday toward the town of Maariya in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, reaching the village of Abidin and the Tal Al-Maghar area.
According to SANA, the force, consisting of four military vehicles, departed from Al-Jazeera military outpost and moved toward Maariya before reaching Abidin village and then heading to Tal Al-Maghar.
The agency also reported that on Saturday an Israeli force consisting of eight military vehicles entered the town of Jamla, where troops deployed throughout residential neighborhoods and searched several civilian homes. This came one day after seven Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Maariya, established a checkpoint east of the mosque, conducted searches of nearby homes, and questioned passersby before withdrawing.
SANA stated that Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria and repeated actions against civilians, including raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and shelling.
The agency further reported that Israeli forces positioned in Tal Al-Maghar opened fire toward agricultural lands surrounding the area.
Syria reiterated that all measures taken by Israeli forces in Syrian territory are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law. It also renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities, put an end to these violations, and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
