Hebrew media stated that shrapnel from an Israeli interceptor missile struck a building in Holon, south of Tel Aviv, as a result of the latest barrage of Iranian missiles.

According to Israeli Radio, the air force intercepted two drones after midnight that had infiltrated the skies near Haifa and northern Israel.

Channel 12 also reported that a fire erupted in a building in Holon due to falling debris from interceptor missiles. The same channel confirmed that an Iranian missile had hit a building in the Greater Tel Aviv area.

Meanwhile, Israeli Army Radio said that the country’s air defense systems intercepted five Iranian missiles.

Earlier, Channel 12 had reported that an Iranian missile and fragments from interceptor missiles had landed in central Israel, prompting emergency medical teams to rush to the area.

Hebrew sources reported hearing powerful explosions early Saturday in Tel Aviv and western Jerusalem following a new wave of Iranian missile launches.

According to the Hebrew-language Global website, around 10 missiles were fired from Iran early Saturday, some of which managed to bypass Israel’s air defense systems and were not intercepted.

Upon detecting the missile launches, Israel’s Home Front Command and military issued urgent alerts, calling on residents to head to shelters and protected areas.

The missiles reportedly targeted Tel Aviv, Haifa, and parts of the coastal plain, with some achieving direct hits, according to circulating reports.
