International non-governmental organizations on Monday urged countries and companies, particularly in Europe, to cease all commercial dealings with “illegal Israeli settlements” established in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to the German Press Agency (DPA), more than 80 organizations, including the Human Rights Association and Oxfam, issued a report titled “Trade with Illegal Settlements: How Foreign States and Companies Enable Israel to Implement Its Illegal Settlement Policy.”
The campaign led by these organizations targets companies and institutions that continue their activities with the settlements, which directly contributes to exacerbating the humanitarian crisis resulting from the ongoing Israeli occupation.
The report’s authors called on countries, especially those in the European Union and the United Kingdom, to impose an explicit ban on all forms of commercial activity with the settlements. This includes investments, provision of services, and preventing banks and financial institutions from supporting settlement projects through loans or financing.
