EU diplomat paraglides off Gaza’s coast

AMMAN — In a rare flight, Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorff paraglided off Gaza’s coast in a video posted online by the European Union Delegation to the Palestinians, drawing attention to the blockaded enclave. اضافة اعلان

Von Burgsdorff who is wrapping up his tenure, took flight to make a statement, saying “once you have a free Palestine, a free Gaza, you can do exactly the same thing,” Al Jazeera reported. He continued his statement by saying “and that is the reason why I did this. To show you the forward.”

Meanwhile, in response, Israel’s foreign ministry condemned the act highlighting it was a provocative action, serving as a propaganda for militant groups in Gaza.
