The Russian president added, "I have the impression that the main parties in the conflict, Israel and Hamas, are not inclined to escalate the conflict between Israel and Palestine." He emphasized that the ongoing situation in Gaza is a tragedy that must come to an end.

Furthermore, Putin stressed that Russia consistently advocates for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with sovereignty and its capital in East Jerusalem, which represents the Russian stance. He noted that this is the sole path towards achieving a just, comprehensive, and enduring peace in the region.

In earlier developments, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli airstrike on the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, categorizing it as a crime and an inhumane act.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, emphasized that the recent escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Middle East has transcended the region's borders, becoming a global catastrophe.

Additionally, the Russian Foreign Ministry called upon the Israeli occupation to provide satellite imagery as evidence to support its claim that it was not responsible for the strike on the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza.
