President al-Sisi emphasized that "Egypt's national security is its primary responsibility" and stated, "There will be no compromise or neglect of Egypt's national security under any circumstances." He added that the Egyptian people should be aware of the complexities of the situation and the magnitude of the threat. He emphasized that Egypt believes that a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution is the way to achieve real and sustainable security for the Palestinian people.
