Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, condemned the Israeli occupation’s escalation of its genocidal war and the horrific massacres committed against Palestinian civilians, in addition to the systematic targeting of journalists, medical teams, and relief workers in the Gaza Strip, as well as the deliberate starvation policy that has claimed the lives of large numbers of unarmed civilians.

In a statement, he warned that the continuation of this escalation would lead to further tension and threaten international peace and security. He stressed that the massacres committed today by the occupation in Nasser Medical Complex and broadcast live to the entire world constitute full-fledged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
He further noted that the occupation does not stop at brutal bombardment but also enforces immediate extermination through massacres, and slow extermination through the denial of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid, alongside the spread of famine—one of the most heinous crimes of modern times—while denouncing the silence of the international community.
The Arab Parliament Speaker called on the United Nations, the European Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities and to pressure the occupation to halt the escalation, end the war, enforce a ceasefire, and move toward a truce agreement. He affirmed that continued silence is a disgrace on the face of humanity.
Al-Yamahi also urged the immediate suspension of the occupation entity from all international organizations and federations, as it flagrantly violates the principles of the international system and disregards international law. He stressed the urgent need to impose comprehensive political, economic, and military sanctions on the occupation leaders, while at the same time calling for swift action by the International Criminal Court to address these crimes classified under genocide, and to prosecute those responsible as war criminals.
