Arshidat, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Lawyers Union and former President of the Lawyers’ Syndicate, claims that Khan visited Israel and made statements supportive of the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces, reported Jo24.

He added that the documents being prepared for court members, as well as evidence and documents incriminating the prosecutor are being collected. He clarified that the prosecutor must respond before a decision is made regarding his position.

Furthermore, if the prosecutor is not permanently removed, a request will be made to isolate him from this case. The union is currently gathering all the evidence that will contribute to the prosecutor’s removal, in cooperation with foreign lawyers.

Arshidat emphasized that the union and other organizations are seeking to bring charges against the Israeli leaders for committing war crimes against Palestinians, including genocide, forced displacement and crimes against humanity.
