Artillery shelling and machine gun fire were reported in the vicinity of the Al-Maslakh area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to local Palestinian sources.
Simultaneously, the Israeli army carried out controlled demolitions of an entire residential block in the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah, also in the southern part of the Strip.
On the 647th day of the ongoing war, Gaza’s hospitals confirmed that at least 95 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since dawn Sunday, with 52 casualties reported in Gaza City alone.
The continuous bombardment and systematic destruction come amid severe humanitarian conditions, with the population facing extreme shortages of food, medicine, and shelter, and mounting civilian casualties.
