Medical sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirmed the deaths of 5 civilians due to Israeli shelling in the Safatawi area in northern Gaza City.
Additionally, a source at Al-Shifa Hospital reported 3 fatalities, including a woman, in a strike near the University College south of the city.

Meanwhile, Al-Ma’madani Hospital announced the death of a Palestinian in an attack on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood early today. Two more bodies were later recovered from Mishta Street after 5 days of bombardment, raising the death toll there to three.

In the south of the Strip, the director of field hospitals in Gaza, Marwan Al-Hommos, reported 4 deaths in an Apache helicopter strike near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
Nasser Medical Complex also confirmed 4 more fatalities in drone strikes targeting areas in the center and east of the city.

In Rafah, two Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces while waiting for humanitarian aid in the Shakoush area west of the city, a scene that has repeated frequently in recent weeks.

In central Gaza, one Palestinian was killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a water tanker in the Nuseirat refugee camp, according to sources at Al-Awda Hospital.
Three members of the Dahdouh family were also reported killed in a strike south of Gaza City, with their bodies later recovered.

Collapse of Health Infrastructure
Amid the military escalation, Tariq Shaheen, director of Deir al-Balah Municipality, warned of a total halt to essential services in Gaza due to fuel shortages, leading to the shutdown of water wells, garbage collection, and sewage treatment—signaling an impending health and environmental disaster.

Dr. Marwan Al-Hommos, director of field hospitals in Gaza, accused the occupation forces of a “drip-feed” approach to allowing fuel and medical supplies into the Strip. He described the health and living conditions in northern Gaza as “very difficult,” with near-total absence of medical services and a severe shortage of infant formula.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that Israeli forces have arrested 360 medical personnel since the start of the war, describing this as a “systematic targeting of the Palestinian health sector.” The ministry called on international bodies to intervene urgently, criminalize Israeli practices against detained medical workers, and pressure for their immediate release.

Continuing Destruction and Siege
Israeli forces continue extensive demolition and bombing campaigns in eastern Gaza neighborhoods, especially Zaytoun and Shuja’iyya, while artillery targeted upper floors of Al-Shawa Tower and Hasri Tower in central Gaza without reported casualties.

This bombardment is part of the genocide Israel has been waging on Gaza since October 7, 2023, which has so far claimed over 196,000 dead and injured, mostly children and women, alongside more than 11,000 missing persons and severe famine that has caused the deaths of dozens of children—underpinned by unwavering U.S. support and international silence.
