The Israeli occupation army confirmed on Wednesday that 48 officers and soldiers were wounded in battles in Southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

According to the occupation army, a total of 309 officers and soldiers have been wounded since the start of ground operations in Southern Lebanon, including 23 who are in critical condition.
In a related development, Israeli media outlets reported that 25 people were injured across 20 different locations following rocket attacks on Wednesday.
The occupation army had announced yesterday the death of four of its soldiers in Southern Lebanon, bringing the total number of its fatalities there to 10 since March 2.
This figure is considered significant given the policy of strict censorship and the extensive media blackout imposed by Israeli sources regarding information related to human casualties.
