Jordan is expected to experience a slight rise in temperatures on Sunday, while hot summer conditions are forecast to continue across much of the Kingdom through Wednesday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The department said conditions will be relatively hot over the highlands and plains, while the Badia will remain hot. The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to experience very hot weather throughout the period.

Moderate northwesterly winds will prevail, becoming active at times during the evening hours.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C in East Amman and 33°C in West Amman, while the northern highlands will see highs of 31°C. Temperatures will climb to 38°C in the Badia and 35°C across the plains.

The hottest conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley and southern regions, with temperatures reaching 41°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 43°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 42°C at the Dead Sea, and 43°C in Aqaba.

The Meteorological Department said no significant change in weather conditions is expected through Wednesday, with the current hot weather pattern set to persist across the country. Moderate northwesterly winds will continue to blow, occasionally becoming more active during the afternoon and evening.
