The Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Eng. Hisham Al-Hissa, and the Secretary-General of the Water Authority, Eng. Sufyan Al-Bataineh, inspected several northern water sources to review operations, operational readiness, and the progress of water resource management and operation procedures.

According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation on Sunday, the two officials were briefed by technical teams on production volumes, operating mechanisms, and measures taken to ensure the sustainability of water supplies to meet the growing demand during the summer season.
They emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination and integration between the Jordan Valley Authority and the Water Authority. They also stressed the need to continue improving water resource management efficiency to strengthen water security, elevate service levels for citizens, and evaluate new sites to develop additional water sources.
