According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the weather on Monday will remain relatively cold in most areas, with low clouds appearing. Gradually during the evening hours, the Kingdom will be affected by a low-pressure system, leading to increasing cloud cover and, God willing, rainfall over northern and central regions as well as parts of the southwestern areas, later extending to parts of the eastern regions. Winds will be westerly and moderate in speed, occasionally active.
At night, the weather will be cold, cloudy, and rainy at times across most regions. Rainfall may be heavy for short periods in parts of the central regions and the southwestern areas, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms at times. Winds will be westerly and moderate, occasionally active.
On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly, with cold, cloudy, and rainy conditions prevailing intermittently across most parts of the Kingdom. Rainfall may be heavy at times in some areas for short periods. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly and moderate in speed, occasionally active.
Another slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, with cold conditions and partly to mostly cloudy skies across most regions. Scattered rain showers are forecast at intervals, particularly in southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, and may be accompanied by thunderstorms at times. During the evening hours, the chances of rainfall are expected to weaken. Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly and moderate in speed, occasionally active.
Temperatures today in East Amman will range between 15°C and 9°C, in West Amman between 13°C and 7°C, in the northern highlands between 11°C and 5°C, in the Sharah highlands between 10°C and 4°C, in the Badia regions between 16°C and 7°C, in the plains between 15°C and 9°C, in the northern Jordan Valley between 22°C and 13°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 24°C and 15°C, at the Dead Sea between 23°C and 14°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 23°C and 14°C.
