Amman — Cold weather conditions are expected to prevail across most regions on Sunday, while conditions will be slightly cooler in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low-level clouds appearing at times. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed.
According to its report, the Meteorological Department warned of the risk of frost formation during the early morning hours over mountainous areas and parts of the Badia, as well as possible fog formation over the high northern mountain ranges.
The cold and mostly sunny weather is forecast to continue through Wednesday across most regions, while relatively mild conditions will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by moderate northeasterly winds.
Temperatures today are expected to range as follows:
• East Amman: 13°C / 4°C
• West Amman: 11°C / 2°C
• Northern Highlands: 10°C / 0°C
• Sharah Highlands: 11°C / -1°C
• Badia regions: 15°C / 2°C
• Plains: 14°C / 4°C
• Northern Jordan Valley: 20°C / 5°C
• Southern Jordan Valley: 22°C / 11°C
• Dead Sea: 21°C / 10°C
• Gulf of Aqaba: 22°C / 10°C
