A relatively cold air mass is affecting the Kingdom on Sunday, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures. The weather will be relatively cold across most regions, while remaining relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds are expected to appear, with moderate northwesterly winds that may become active at times.
The Meteorological Department warned in its report of reduced horizontal visibility during the early morning hours due to fog over the high northern mountainous areas. It also cautioned that visibility may occasionally decrease due to dust in desert regions.
On Monday, conditions are forecast to be partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in most areas, with milder temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Intermittent rain showers are expected in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will remain partly cloudy to cloudy and cold across most regions, with relatively mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Rain showers are forecast at intervals in the northern and central regions, as well as in limited parts of the southwestern areas. Winds will be northwesterly and active.
