According to its report, the Meteorological Department warned of possible frost formation during the early morning hours over mountainous areas and parts of the Badia, as well as the formation of fog early in the morning over the high northern mountain peaks.
On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, bringing sunny and relatively cold weather across most regions, and mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate north-easterly, shifting to north-westerly during the afternoon hours.
A slight drop in temperatures is forecast for Wednesday, with cold weather prevailing in most areas and mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds are expected, with a slight chance during the evening hours of light and brief rain showers in limited parts of northern Jordan. Winds will be moderate north-westerly, occasionally becoming active, particularly in Badia regions.
Temperatures will rise slightly again on Thursday, with relatively cold weather across most regions and mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some low-level clouds will appear, while moderate north-westerly winds are expected, becoming active at times in Badia areas.
Temperatures in East Amman today are expected to range between 15°C and 5°C, and in West Amman between 13°C and 3°C. In the northern highlands, temperatures will range from 11°C to 2°C, in the Sharah Highlands from 12°C to -1°C, in the Badia regions from 17°C to 4°C, and in the plains from 16°C to 5°C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 22°C and 6°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 24°C and 11°C, at the Dead Sea between 23°C and 10°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 24°C and 11°C.
