The Kingdom will be affected on Thursday by a weak extension of a low-pressure system centered over northeastern Syria, leading to a slight drop in temperatures. The weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with rain showers expected during the morning hours in northern regions of the country.

Temperatures in East Amman are forecast to range between 13°C and 6°C, while West Amman will record temperatures between 11°C and 4°C. Northern highlands will see temperatures between 9°C and 3°C, and the Sharah Mountains between 10°C and 2°C. In the Badia regions, temperatures will range from 16°C to 3°C, while the plains will record 13°C to 5°C. Northern Jordan Valley temperatures will range between 21°C and 9°C, southern Jordan Valley between 23°C and 12°C, the Dead Sea between 23°C and 11°C, and the Gulf of Aqaba between 24°C and 11°C.

Later in the day, light rain showers are expected in limited parts of central and southwestern regions. Westerly winds will be active, with speeds ranging between 40–50 km/h, accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 60 km/h in some areas, causing dust, particularly in the Badia regions.

The Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds touching mountainous areas, as well as dust in many regions, especially the Badia, where visibility may occasionally drop significantly on external roads. It also warned of strong winds and accompanying gusts in some areas, in addition to slippery road conditions in locations experiencing rainfall.

On Friday, the weather will remain cold across most regions and mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low clouds are expected to appear, with light rain showers forecast during the morning hours in limited parts of central and southwestern areas. During early morning hours, precipitation over high southern mountain peaks may occasionally fall as freezing rain. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming active at times.

On Saturday, cold conditions will persist across most areas, while relatively mild weather will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds at various altitudes and moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds.
