The national team will be represented by Obada Al-Kasbeh (under 67kg), Ziad Asheesh (under 71kg), Odai Al-Hendawi (under 86kg), and Hussaien Asheeseh (under 92kg).

The team manager decided to include the four players, as they took part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The upcoming championship, for the first time in its history, will be awarding boxers huge financial prizes.

The total amount of prize money equals $2.6 million. The first place winner from every weight category will receive $100,000, while second place will receive $50,000, and third place will receive $25,000.

It is expected that 650 players, representing 105 countries, will participate in the championship in Serbia, a record for the championship, which was launched for the first time in 1974.

The International Boxing Federation has also announced that belts will be given to the top winners.

The federation also decided to change the colors of the boxing gloves from blue and red to white, to symbolize a new start as the federation seeks to move forward with greater integrity and transparency.
