— Former national
taekwondo athlete Farah Al-Asaad has started climbing Mount
Albers in Russia, in a move that aims to highlight the issue of refugees in
different regions of the world.

The
Jordanian athlete arrived in Russia on Saturday to take on the challenge of
climbing Albers Mountain, which is 5,642 meters above sea level. The climb is
part of Farah's initiatives to support
refugees in Jordan and throughout the
world by spreading awareness.
Asaad
said that the process of climbing Mount Albers, the highest peak in Europe,
began on Saturday, with the actual start of the climb beginning on Sunday.
