The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) congratulated Jordan on the official inclusion of the Ajloun Forest Reserve and the Yarmouk Forest Reserve in its World Network of Biosphere Reserves.اضافة اعلان

UNESCO stated on its social media pages that this recognition reflects Jordan’s leadership in balancing biodiversity conservation with sustainable development.

With this achievement, the number of biosphere reserves in Jordan rises to four: Dana, Mujib, Ajloun, and Yarmouk, strengthening Jordan’s position on the global environmental map as a leading destination for nature protection and resource conservation.

UNESCO described the recognition as a remarkable step for nature, humanity, and the planet.
