Orange Jordan Educates Students in Several Universities about AI & Quantum Computing

Orange Jordan is always keen to pave the way for the future for young women and men with knowledge. In line with this, it organized a series of interactive awareness sessions in collaboration with Yarmouk, The Middle East, and Al-Zaytoonah universities to educate students about AI and Quantum Computing being the skills that shape the future.

Despite the growing popularity of AI, there remains a significant need to increase awareness about cutting-edge technologies like quantum computing. It promises unparalleled performance with higher speed, efficiency, and superior problem-solving capabilities. This revolutionary technology is particularly beneficial for optimizing supply chains, accelerating drug discovery, and others. Based on this, understanding and integrating quantum computing into various industries will be crucial for achieving transformative breakthroughs and innovations.

The Learning Manager and AI Expert at Orange Jordan, Hussam Al Hourani, conducted an interactive discussion with the students that revolved around the ways modern technologies will change our daily lives and future.

Al Hourani shed light on the revolutionary applications of these modern technologies in our daily routine, referring to the link between quantum computing and AI and the related applications including data analysis, pattern identification, event prediction, making informed decisions, and focusing on the practical aspect by mentioning some real-life examples.

Students were informed about several AI and quantum computing-related use cases that include for example more efficient decision-making processes based on the outputs of a huge amount of data analysis, enhancing the educational process by paving the way for personalized learning experiences, as well as improving healthcare services provided to patients.

These lectures fall under the educational role that Orange Jordan commits to aligning with being always here for its customers and beneficiaries especially youth. Al Hourani answered the questions of the students that revolved around the expected impact of these technologies on our quality of life through accelerating the response pace to the challenges that constantly announce themselves, based on data and facts.

It is worth mentioning that Orange Jordan works through a business model that is based on partnership with Jordanian universities with the aim of enabling students to join the labor market by bridging the gap between educational outcomes and market needs by building students' knowledge to lead the future.
