Jordan-Syria free zone added to investment window

AMMAN — The Jordanian-Syrian Joint Industrial Free Zone will be added to the National Window for Trade, a one-stop shop for investing in Jordan, Al-Mamlaka reported.اضافة اعلان

Its addition to the national window will help expedite customs clearance procedures and prevent the accumulation of containers at warehouses.

During a visit Tuesday to the free zone, its director-general, Irfan Al-Khasawneh emphasized the importance of the joint zone for the national economy, which encourages trade exchange between the two neighbors.

Khasawneh stressed the important role of Jordan Customs in the investment process, through facilitating procedures within the customs center.
