The Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company announced that the value of checks processed through the electronic check clearing system reached 33.81 billion dinars during the ten-month period from the beginning of this year.

According to Al-Rai, the company’s report titled Monthly Report for Payment Systems – October 2025 indicated that the total number of transactions during this period amounted to 5.16 million.
Regarding the value of checks processed over the three-month period from August to the end of October, the report showed that the value recorded in both August and September reached 3.44 billion dinars, with 525,000 checks processed in August and 539,000 in September. The value increased in October to 3.66 billion dinars, with 516,000 checks processed.
As for returned checks during the same three months, the report showed that in August, returned checks amounted to 84 million dinars, totaling 15.6 thousand checks. In September, the value declined to 75 million dinars, with 16 thousand checks returned. In October, the value rose again to 80 million dinars, with 15.1 thousand returned checks.
