According to foreign trade data, the Kingdom’s imports of crude oil and its derivatives reached 1.946 billion dinars by the end of September, compared with 2.023 billion dinars in the same period of the previous year—a decline of 3.8%.

The oil bill dropped by about 77 million dinars during this period, directly contributing to curbing the overall rise in the value of the Kingdom’s imports.

Statistical data showed that fuel and mineral oils accounted for the largest share of petroleum imports at 664 million dinars, followed by crude oil at about 551 million dinars. Imports of motor spirits (gasoline) reached around 303 million dinars, diesel about 391 million dinars, lubricants 33 million dinars, and kerosene about 4 million dinars.
