The Jordanian Payment and Clearing Company (JoPACC) report for October 2025 showed that transfers conducted through e-wallets reached JD 5.25 billion since the start of the year, carried out via approximately 81.01 million e-wallet transactions.اضافة اعلان

The report indicated that total transactions across the instant payment system—including banks and mobile service providers—amounted to 214.91 million transactions with a total value of about JD 21.61 billion since the start of the year.

According to the report, the JoMoPay e-wallet system recorded 9.45 million transactions in October, totaling JD 573 million. The number of transactions rose by around 6.7% compared to the previous month, while the total transaction value slightly declined by about 0.7%.

By the end of October, the number of e-wallet users reached 2.66 million, marking a 1.4% increase from the previous month. Jordanians accounted for approximately 87.8% of users, with non-Jordanians at 12.2%. Male users represented about 47.1%, while females were 52.5%.

In terms of transaction volume, money transfers made up the majority (84.5%), followed by purchases (14.5%), cash withdrawals (0.8%), and deposits (0.2%). In terms of value for October, money transfers totaled JD 445.85 million, purchases JD 94.01 million, withdrawals JD 11.63 million, and deposits JD 3.52 million.

The average transaction value via e-wallets was JD 54.8, compared to JD 111.9 for transactions conducted through bank accounts.

These results reflect the continued growth of e-wallet activity in Jordan and their role in enhancing financial inclusion and advancing the digital payment ecosystem, by providing easy and secure financial services that reduce reliance on traditional cash.

JoMoPay is an electronic system that enables mobile payment services through registered e-wallets, allowing financial transactions between wallets and between wallets and bank accounts.
