The Central Bank of Russia announced on Thursday that the country's international gold and foreign forex reserves decreased by $15.1 billion within a single week, bringing the total down to approximately $753.8 billion.

In a press statement, the Russian Central Bank explained that the decline is attributed to the revaluation of foreign assets, fluctuations in gold prices and global currencies, alongside recent financial market movements and the ongoing impacts of international economic sanctions imposed on the country.
