20% Increase in the Number of Registered Companies by the End of the Third Quarter

The number of registered companies in the Kingdom rose by 20 percent from the beginning of the year until the end of September, compared to the same period last year, and by 48 percent compared to 2019.اضافة اعلان

According to data from the Companies Control Department, a total of 5,636 companies were registered during the first three quarters of the year, compared to 4,715 during the same period last year, and 3,798 in 2019.






The total registered capital of companies during the same period reached JD 323 million. The most common type of registered companies was the “limited liability company,” with 4,078 registrations, accounting for 72.4 percent of the total registered capital, amounting to more than JD 104 million.

Meanwhile, the number of companies dissolved or deregistered dropped by 33 percent compared to the same period in 2024, with 901 companies deregistered compared to 1,343 previously.

Additionally, the net increase in company capital rose by 148 percent compared to the same period in 2024. Some 1,300 companies raised their capital by about JD 1.16 billion, while 203 companies reduced their capital by approximately JD 194 million.
