The secretary also reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to maintaining superiority in the artificial intelligence arms race, stressing that the U.S. possesses the strength and capability to achieve that goal.

On the economic front, he explained that U.S. policy aims to empower allies to secure energy from reliable sources rather than depending on adversaries, while supporting all forms of affordable and dependable energy.
