Oxford vaccine creator states booster shots unnecessary for most

AMMAN— The scientist behind the Oxford vaccine states that booster shots are not necessary for everyone on Friday as she called for vaccines to be sent to countries in need.اضافة اعلان

Professor Dame Sarah Gilberts stated to the Daily Telegraph that vaccine protection remains strong and that only some vulnerable groups would need boosters. She announced that immunity is “lasting well” for the majority of those with the vaccine.

“We need to get vaccines to countries where few of the population have been vaccinated so far,” said Gilberts.

The UK vaccine advisory is set to give a decision on booster shots soon.
