In a post on the platform X, MarineTraffic reported that the Greek-owned cargo ship "NJ Earth" crossed the strait at 08:44 GMT on Wednesday. Earlier, the Liberia-flagged vessel "Daytona Beach" completed its transit at 06:59 GMT, "shortly after departing the port of Bandar Abbas."

These movements come just hours after the United States and Iran reached a two-week ceasefire agreement late Tuesday night, which stipulates the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to maritime navigation.
