The Board of Directors of the Zakat Fund approved the disbursement of urgent cash assistance for winter clothing in the amount of 35 dinars per family for those receiving monthly assistance and orphan sponsorships, to be deposited through bank accounts.

During its meeting held on Sunday, chaired by the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, the board also approved the renovation of 11 homes for eligible families in various areas, following the completion of the necessary assessments. In addition, it approved the purchase of 84 goats and 110 sheep under a rehabilitation project aimed at providing a sustainable source of income for a number of eligible families across different governorates of the Kingdom.
The decisions also included the distribution of free electronic educational grants provided by a specialized company in the form of study cards to the children of beneficiaries of the fund’s services, with the aim of developing their educational skills.
Furthermore, the board approved the Zakat Fund’s estimated budget for the year 2026, as well as its action plan for the coming year, which includes executive plans for the activities of the holy month of Ramadan and the fund’s media plan.
