US embassy updates travel requirements, requires negative COVID-19 test

AMMAN  — Travelers to the US over the age of two, regardless of nationality or vaccination status will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken a day before boarding their US-bound flight as of December 6.اضافة اعلان

In a press statement issued on Sunday, the embassy said that those who have recently recovered from the virus will be required to show proof of their recovery in the form of a positive COVID-19 test taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure to the US and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating they are cleared for travel.
