UNESCO postpones conference in Jordan

On Thursday, the Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson for the government, Muhannad Al-Mubaydin, announced the postponement of Jordan's hosting of the UNESCO International Conference as part of the Global Media and Information Literacy Week and the Youth Agenda Forum, scheduled to be held on the October 23, until further notice.

He clarified in press statements that the decision to postpone was jointly taken by Jordan and the UNESCO due to the current events in the region, Al Mamlaka TV reported.
