Aqaba receives more than 1.9 million visitors in 2023

AQABA – The city of Aqaba has been visited by more than 1.9 million people since the beginning of the current year. This represents a substantial increase from last year's record of 1.15 million visitors, according to Hamza Al-Hajj, Deputy Chairman of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Al Mamlaka TV reported. اضافة اعلان

During a meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism, Antiquities, and Public Services, Al-Hajj stated that the hotel occupancy rate in Aqaba had increased by 11 percent during the current year compared to 2019.

He also mentioned that the hotel occupancy rate had reached 62.4 percent this year.
