AMMAN — The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) predicted a significant drop in temperatures starting Monday, with conditions turning relatively cold in the highlands and moderate in other areas of the Kingdom.اضافة اعلان

As per the JMD's daily update, the highlands on Monday are likely to experience relatively cold conditions, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will have pleasant weather with low clouds.

The JMD has also forecasted the formation of low altitude clouds in the northern and central regions of Jordan.

There is a possibility of light and scattered showers in the northern areas as well. The wind will be brisk, blowing dust at times from the northwest.

Poor visibilityThe JMD has also issued a warning of poor horizontal visibility in the highlands and eastern areas due to the formation of dust and fog.

The JMD additionally predicted that the mercury levels will continue to dip over the next two days, resulting in relatively cold conditions across the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where the weather will remain pleasant with low clouds.
