Some of the park’s rides sport names like Pella Plunge and the Dead Sea Drop —a vertical drop that plummets 12m down.

During the opening ceremony, general manager of Saraya Aqaba Waterpark, Chris Van Der Merwe said: “Following months of earnest preparation it fills me with an immense amount of pride to see the doors of Saraya Aqaba Waterpark finally open to the public.”

The park will also feature Rose City Diner, the waterpark’s main dining outlet, as well as Al-Siq Souk, where guests can purchase items for the pool.

According to the park’s website, tickets for adults are JD35 for a day, while children’s tickets are JD30. Visitors can also purchase a season pass for JD100.
