They reviewed ways to strengthen efforts to continue delivering humanitarian assistance to the Strip through land crossings and joint airdrop operations, in cooperation with several countries.
On Friday, Jordan and the UAE carried out a joint airdrop operation, which also included participation from France, Germany, and Spain.
The two ministers stressed the urgent need to open all crossings to allow the immediate and sufficient entry of humanitarian aid throughout the Gaza Strip. They emphasized that airdrop operations are not a substitute for land-based aid deliveries.
Both sides underscored the importance of unified efforts to achieve an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza, implement a prisoner exchange agreement, and ensure the entry of adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid into the Strip, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe caused and exacerbated by Israeli aggression.
They affirmed the continuation of joint cooperation in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The ministers also highlighted the deep-rooted and historic brotherly relations between the two countries, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aiming toward broader cooperation in various fields.
