With the launch of the station, the fund had fully completed the project for the construction of three solar power stations with a total capacity of 15 MW and a total cost of JD17 million, with a payback period of 3 years. This project will reduce the Social Security Corporation (SSC) utility bill by JD5 million annually. The project also created 300 jobs for Jordanian engineers and workers throughout the construction phases.

Saqqaf highlighted the importance of this project in increasing the competitive advantage of the five hotels owned by the SSC, due to the significant reduction of its utility bill. The project, which also provides power to the SSIF and SSC headquarters and branches, is an important step in investing in the green economy and clean energy.

It worth mentioning that the SSIF is a major investor in the traditional and renewable energy sectors with an investment value that exceeds JD100 million.
