The weather today, Tuesday, will be relatively cold across most regions, while slightly warmer conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-level clouds will appear, and winds will be moderate southwesterly.

According to the Meteorological Department, the Kingdom will gradually be affected on Wednesday by a cold and moist air mass associated with the extension of a low-pressure system. Temperatures will drop noticeably, returning to their seasonal averages for this time of year. The weather will be cold in most areas and partly to mostly cloudy. From around midday, intermittent rain showers are expected in northern parts of the Kingdom, later extending to central and eastern regions. Rainfall may be heavy for short periods in parts of the northern and central areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. By evening, rain showers are expected in some southwestern areas, while rainfall will weaken at night. Winds will be westerly and occasionally active, stirring dust—especially in desert areas—leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

On Thursday, the weather will be cold and partly cloudy, with mild temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. There will remain a chance during the morning hours of light and scattered rain in the northern and central regions. Winds will be moderate southwesterly, occasionally active in the eastern parts of the Kingdom.

On Friday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected. The weather will be relatively cold in most regions and slightly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the appearance of medium- and high-level clouds. Winds will be moderate southwesterly and may become occasionally active.

Today’s maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to range between 16–6°C in eastern Amman, 14–4°C in western Amman, 12–3°C in the northern highlands, 15–4°C in the Sharah highlands, 17–2°C in desert areas, 16–6°C in the plains, 22–7°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 21–12°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 22–13°C at the Dead Sea, and 25–12°C in the Gulf of Aqaba.
