AMMAN — The Ministry of Labor, in conjunction with a formal statement issued by Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh on Sunday, outlined the working hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan. The specified working hours apply to employees across all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint service councils, Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), and government-run companies.اضافة اعلان

The established working hours during Ramadan are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, it is notable that the directive does not extend to the private sector, leaving the determination of working hours during Ramadan to the discretion of each private sector establishment's internal regulations, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

During Ramadan, official working hours will be in effect until 3:00 PM for the entities mentioned above, reverting to their regular schedule post-Ramadan. Certain departments necessitating different arrangements due to official duties are exempted from this directive, allowing their working hours to be administratively determined by their respective department heads.

Khasawneh emphasized the importance for all institutions to observe the sanctity of the holy month and to be mindful of the sentiments of fasting individuals, urging respect and consideration during this period.
