AMMAN — Royal Jordanian
Airlines (RJ) on Monday said that RJ flight No.134 returned to Larnaca
International Airport 26 minutes after it took off, according to the Jordan
News Agency, Petra.

The flight returned to Cyprus
due to a suspected “technical failure”, Petra reported.
RJ, following an inspection of
the aircraft, stressed that no malfunction was detected. The flight was cleared
for take-off and returned to Amman, where it landed at Queen Alia International
Airport after taking "all technical and preventive measures to ensure the
safety of the 55 passengers on board."
The airline reiterated that the
passengers' safety is its top priority and gives the utmost priority to the
safety of its passengers in the event of
emergency landings.
