Princess Dina Mired has once again been named by the global OncoDaily platform to its list of the 100 Most Influential Women in Cancer for 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year she has been included since the list was first launched in 2023.
The annual list, titled “100 Most Influential Women in Oncology: Impactful Leaders on Social Media and Beyond,” highlights women who have made significant contributions to cancer care, scientific research, advocacy, and health policy development worldwide.
Princess Dina is recognized internationally as a leading advocate for equitable access to cancer prevention and treatment services. She previously served as President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), becoming the first Arab to hold the position. She also served as Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, contributing to its development into a leading institution in mobilizing support and funding for cancer treatment while strengthening awareness and advocacy efforts.
Princess Dina continues her international work as Honorary President of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Cancer Research Fund. She also hosts the podcast “Global Health Dialogues with Princess Dina,” where she engages leading experts and policymakers in discussions on cancer and global health.
Her inclusion on the list for four consecutive years reflects international recognition of her sustained efforts to advance cancer control and her advocacy for the right of all patients to receive equitable, high-quality healthcare, regardless of where they live or their economic circumstances.
