The ceremony, held under royal patronage, highlighted the center’s key achievements and milestones since its establishment, as well as its progress in developing cancer care services and improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients.

In the presence of Prince Talal bin Muhammad, Prince Faisal listened to remarks by Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the foundation and center. She praised the continued royal support for the mission of the foundation and center since their establishment, saying it provides reassurance and a sense of security to cancer patients.

Princess Ghida said the trust placed in the foundation by Jordanians and their Arab brothers and sisters over the past 25 years represents a major achievement. She noted that this trust guides the foundation’s decisions and commitment to the highest standards, as well as its efforts to attract highly qualified medical professionals.

She announced that the foundation and center’s next major project will be the establishment of a specialized hospital for children with cancer, which will be the first of its kind in the Arab world.

Several cancer survivors shared their experiences and stories of recovery during the ceremony, reflecting the message of hope that the foundation and center have promoted since their establishment.

During the ceremony, Princess Ghida Talal honored members of the boards of trustees and administrative leaders at the foundation and center in recognition of their continued efforts and contributions. Prince Talal also honored prominent supporters and partners of the foundation and center for their contributions over the years.

The center continues to develop its treatment services and strengthen its position as a regional specialized cancer care center. It currently treats around 70% of cancer cases in Jordan and has provided treatment to more than 85,000 children and adults from Jordan and across the Arab world. It has also achieved survival rates of up to 85% among pediatric cancer patients.

In recent years, the center has expanded its services and capacity through the opening of new buildings and facilities in Amman, as well as a facility in Aqaba to serve patients in the southern parts of the Kingdom.
