His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, President of the Arab Thought Forum, on Tuesday visited the Military Cancer Center of the Royal Medical Services, where he was received by Director General of the Royal Medical Services, Brig. Gen. Dr. Sahl Al-Hamouri.

His Highness listened to a briefing by the Center’s Director, Brig. Gen. Dr. Ahmad Al-Bawa’neh, on the medical services provided to beneficiaries from the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, security agencies, and civilians, including cancer patients, using the latest medical methods and technologies to alleviate their suffering, in complement to other national institutions caring for cancer patients.
Brig. Gen. Dr. Al-Hamouri said: “At the forefront of our priorities is the development of our medical system in line with the latest global medical advancements, and the introduction of state-of-the-art equipment to raise the level of exceptional service for patients and visitors.” He stressed the adoption of the most advanced medical and therapeutic methods for patients with blood diseases, along with continuous awareness campaigns, and enhancing cooperation and partnership among medical sectors.
Prince Hassan toured various departments and facilities of the Center, expressing pride and appreciation for the personnel of the Royal Medical Services for their dedication and continued efforts in providing healthcare both within the Kingdom and to Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
His Highness highlighted the importance of developing a comprehensive and reliable knowledge database, affirming that healthcare institutions cannot thrive without solidarity and integration, and stressing the need for all stakeholders to work together to build an effective medical body that enhances cooperation and ensures optimal services for citizens under one umbrella.
Prince Hassan was accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Health, the President of the University of Jordan, the Inspector General of the Jordan Armed Forces, and several representatives of the public and private medical sectors in the Kingdom.
