Prime Minister Issues Circular to Rationalize Consumption and Control Spending Across All Government Institutions
Prime Minister Jafar Hassan issued a circular on Monday mandating the rationalization of consumption and the tightening of expenditure across all government institutions, official departments, and public agencies, in light of current circumstances.اضافة اعلان

Under the circular, the following measures have been enacted:

Government Vehicles: Prohibiting the use of government vehicles for non-official purposes and banning their use outside of official working hours. All previous approvals and exceptions regarding this matter are hereby revoked.

Official Travel: Suspending the travel of official delegations and committees abroad for a period of two months, except in cases of extreme necessity and with prior approval from the Prime Minister.

Official Hosting: Suspending the hosting of official foreign delegations for the same two-month period.

Energy Consumption: Prohibiting the use of air conditioning and heating systems within ministries, institutions, and government departments.

The Prime Minister tasked the Audit Bureau and internal audit units with monitoring the implementation of these measures, recording any violations or irregularities, and submitting the necessary reports.

The circular emphasized that expenditure control and rationalization measures will continue in accordance with previous Cabinet decisions.
