AMMAN — On Saturday, the director-general of the National
Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Nizar Haddad, welcomed a delegation from
the UK's
Plymouth University, reported the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During the meeting, Haddad emphasized the importance of
strengthening cooperation and partnerships with various academic institutions,
highlighting the significance of this visit in implementing joint projects and
exchanging scientific expertise between the two parties.
Haddad noted that the visit would have a positive impact on
the development of scientific research, leading to comprehensive agricultural
development.
The delegation from the UK's Plymouth University consisted
of Professor Richard Preziosi, head of the School of Biological and Marine
Sciences, and Dr Jennifer Rowntree, associate professor in Ecological Genetics.
The delegation toured various departments and laboratories
at NARC, praising the scientific and research capabilities and infrastructure
that serves as a catalyst for building partnerships and exchanging expertise
and visits with the university.
