Normal summer weather forecast in highlands, hot in other regions

AMMAN —  Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to hover around the annual average, so normal summer weather will prevail in the highlands and the plains. But, it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, with low-altitude clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Similar weather will persist on Thursday and Friday despite a slight drop in temperature, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 17C in the northern highlands. However, it will be much hotter in the Gulf city of Aqaba, with temperatures reaching a high of 40C and a low of 27C.
