During his meeting with the people of Tafileh, Khasawneh added that the government is aware of the trust crisis between the government and Jordanians.

The prime minister pointed out that the investment prospects in Jordan are promising, and that the government has approved facilitations and incentives in the investment law that could reach exemptions from income tax.

Khasawneh said that the government focuses on attracting investments in the governorates, and not only in Amman, noting that this Cabinet was formed in exceptional circumstances, and continues to work to modernize the public sector, and provide and improve the services it provides to the citizen.

The prime minister said that the process of modernizing the public sector will not affect employees, stressing that no employee will be laid off, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

He added that the roadmap aims at raising the level of services and development and attracting investments.

Khasawneh said that the government is proceeding with the comprehensive modernization program launched by His Majesty King Abdullah, in three fields: political, economic, and modernization of the public sector.

“We have completed the legislation concerning the political modernization system, which aims to create governments made up of representatives of political parties,” he added.
